Days of Summer is the inner child folk rock songwriting of Angela Greco. With the help of a rotating cast of bandmates, Days of Summer produces heartfelt songs with strong melody, experimental instrumentation, and narrative color - designed to feel both fresh and familiar, like a good friendship.
Her music has been called "woodsy" (by Sage Nizhoni, a fellow woodsy songwriter), and that makes sense - Angela works as a gardener and garden designer in Austin, TX. Her business is also called "Days of Summer Gardens," lol.
DoS has been compared to Cat Power, The Sundays, Belle & Sebastian, Carole King, The Cranberries, Big Thief, and Yo La Tengo. Fans of experimentation, they can push their sets toward noisy melodic rock or reside in the gentle, lapping waters of folk. You never know what instrument or voice will pop up.
